Portrait Workshop with Christopher Newhard

CANCELLED

This workshop is offered and designed for those who wish to improve their skills at portraiture.

A traditional, structure based approach is taught with demonstrations, examples and lots of one on one instruction and feedback.

The first half of the day will be dedicated to drawing studies from the model from different angles to practice depiction of form and adjust for accuracy. The second half of the workshop will be devoted to a longer study from the model in whatever media the artist chooses (painting, drawing, pastel, watercolor, etc.)

The workshop will conclude with a brief but comprehensive group critique when we can reflect on the day's work and offer each other feedback.

$125 for Non-PAC members; $112.50 for PAC members
